Hi my name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* I'll try to help you with this issue, the website may ask if you want a call, but that is up to you. So first I would check the simple things first, like make sure the coolant is all the way full when cold. then replace the rad. cap to make sure the cap is good. after that if still does it , I would have it checked for codes to see what may be the cause.

I have had a mechanic check it already and the radiator, coolant levels and pump are all working well

codes?no...they checked the radiator, coolant levels and water pump....all ok....and they confused as well

So I would have it checked for any codes as some check engine light codes do not set the light on, and there could be a pending code in the ECM which could tell you which part can cause this, or you can just start replacing parts if you want to. and I would start with the CTS, if that is the way you chose.

So it sounds like it is something the dealer may have to check to see if it is a program issue, or the PCM.
