Q: Car idles then shuts off once feet is off gas
My car normally cranks up and starts normal..but one morning my car started up and then the engine stalled and cut off..then when i started.it up again the engine misfired and cut off..the mechanic came out and suggested that it could be idle air control value because when in idle it shuts off but once gas is applied the misfire in the engine stops..i need a second opinon..the fuel pump and filter and brand new..so what could it be
