Q: Car hesitating while driving

asked by on

My car is hesitating periodically while driving.

If your vehicle has a Check Engine light, I would recommend starting there. Any trouble codes found in the system would likely be related to your issue, and would aid in diagnosis of this issue. Some possible causes of your issue would include a vacuum leak, an intermittently faulty ignition coil or fuel injector, a faulty spark plug, or even a weak fuel pump. I would recommend having a certified mechanic inspect your fuel and ignition systems after scanning your car for any trouble codes to find the source of your problem.

Q: 235$ for puller replacement?

Hi there. It really depends on what pulley you are referring to that will determine whether or not it's a good deal. For example, a water pump pulley would be rather simple to replace, without too many hours of labor...
