Q: Car hard to start and idles rough
My car idles rough and is hard to start sometimes.

A rough idle will usually indicate that the engine isn’t running at its peak efficiency, and needs some attention. The hard start condition will also suggest that the engine isn’t running its best. The things I would look into would be fuel delivery, ignition components and engine compression. Have a certified mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, test your fuel pressure, inspect and test ignition components, and do an engine compression test to diagnose your rough idling issue.
