If it has abs, most likely air in the abs hydraulic unit as you replaced the lines which introduces air to the system. This normally requires a scan tool to activate the abs motors to bleed them. There is a workaround about 75% successful to negate the need for computer bleeding Get all the wheels off the ground using jackstands or blocks. Crank engine and put in gear and accelerate to about 20 mph and repeatedly slam on the brakes. Repeat 10 times Put vehicle in park and leave idling rebleed brakes at this point. Thanks for using Just Answer and letting me help you. I hope I provided what you needed. If you find more help is still needed, let me know by listing out any remaining questions you have on this concern. I hope the remainder of your day is well.

Thanks! going to go try this and will let you know if it works.

Hi you are welcome and sounds good

Unfortunately, the front left brake locked up when the car was started
Automotive Expert
HI Either lots of air in it or issue with the abs system. Ok, with it idling, open all the bleeders at the wheels, remove the master cylinder reservoir cap, have a large can of brake fluid on hand, and let it gravity bleed for about 5 minutes while you keep an eye on the fluid level and keep it filled. Then close the bleeders and try the procedure again.

Ok, going to give it another go
Automotive Expert
ok

we tried the ABS work around several times but still having the issue of the front left and right rear bleeding fine and no air bubbles, front right and rear left have little to no fluid bleed and brake pedal does not fully depress when bleeding.
Automotive Expert
HI Unfortunately it is going to take a scan tool to activate the motors for those lines to computer bleed them at this point.

Could the ABS be failing?would I have to have the car towed to a shop to have the lines computer bled?
Automotive Expert
HI There is a slim possibility it has failed, but based upon experience, I do lean more towards just needing computer bleeding. Yes, you will want to have it towed to a shop for this

ok, thanks for your input! I do appreciate your help

When you are driving down the road over 35 -40 mph, there is enough air flow through both the A/C condenser...

P0016 and P0018 keep popping up.

Hi Glamy. You really need to have the dealership reprogram the locks and your existing FOB key in order to disable the missing key. That's really the only way to correctly do this.
