My 2008 Scion tC has a rough idle, (manuel tranny) what could cause this? Just yesterday aight on my dash says, "Maintenance Req'd" that means an oil change ONLY, correct?

You are correct, that just means due for an oil change in that car, if you hold down the odometer button while turning the key to the on position, just before it cranks, hold the button until the maint required light goes out, that should reset it, as far a rough idle goes, check and clean your throttle body, if it’s dirty with carbon the engine can’t breathe right. Very worn spark plugs could also cause a rough idle, a misfire in a cylinder could also do that. My name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* for using just answer, hope this helps.

aahhaa, thank you Biagio!

As you may know, the transmission uses hydraulic pressure created by...
