Q: Can the positive cable be split with a dual post battery on a 1996 Sierra

asked by on February 24, 2018

My positive connection keeps coming loose, can I split the 2 cables on the positive side up with a dual post battery, or do they have to remain in contact with each other?
My car has an automatic transmission.

Yes you can split them and put them on different posts as long as they both get battery power they will work.
