How does the luggage compartment light work?

A: Unlike your car’s dome light and map lights...

Unlike your car’s dome light and map lights, the luggage compartment light does not come on when you open the door. However, you can turn it on and off as you need to provide illumination when loading or unloading the vehicle. Here’s how:

  1. Locate the light. It’s toward the inner edge of the door, just below the back glass.

  2. Flip the switch up to turn the light on.

  3. Flip the switch down to turn the light off when you’re done.

Tips

The luggage compartment light does not come on when you open the doors (unlike other interior lights).
