Q: Bubble on tire

asked by on

Just hit a pot hole and now tire has a bubble. Does this mean I need a new tire that I really can't afford at the moment? Am I able to still drive on it?
My car has an automatic transmission.

Anytime a bubble forms on a tire means the tire cores have separated and air has got to the surface on the outside layer. This is a dangerous chance to have a tire to blow at any time. Try and get a new tire or even a good used tire since this one is not safe to drive on.
