Q: Q: Air conditioning not working

asked by on

The air conditioning is not working.

Hi. The air conditioning system works by removing excess heat from inside the vehicle and transferring it outside. There are countless reasons your air conditioning might not work, from a failed compressor to having a low refrigerant level. A trained mechanic will be able to diagnose your air conditioning issue by performing an air conditioning performance test. This test involves hooking up gauges to the high and low side of the system, then interpreting the gauge readings.
