Q: 2006 Hyundai Sonata p2106 code how do I repair

asked by on July 22, 2017

My car sensor is displaying p2016 and not getting any power

My car has 125 miles.

This trouble code indicates an issue with the intake manifold runner circuit. This could be an issue with the wiring, the intake runner position sensor, or the powertrain control module. I would recommend having your vehicle inspected by a qualified professional to have this circuit tested. It is possible that some wiring could be damaged or that the powertrain control module or runner position sensor has simply failed. Once the cause of this issue has been diagnosed, have any faulty parts replaced in order to resolve this issue.

Runs fine when cold- after 1/2 hour or so , spits and sputters then quits
Hi and thanks for contacting YourMechanic. To me this symptom sounds like three different problems that could be happening. This will cause the exhaust...

Hazard lights stay on when car is turned off.
Hi There, Generally this is something caused by the flasher relay (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/hazard-turn-signal-flasher-replacement) going bad. This is a small relay that allows the lights to flash based upon current flow and a resistor inside that causes them to flash. When this...
Can resetting 2014 Chevy captiva computer stop the reduced engine power
