SERVICE

30,000 Miles Maintenance Service

AMOUNT PAID

$1437.09
by Roxy from Santa Rosa, CA 95409

Ross was very polite and respectful, however, he showed up 45 minutes late. He did text and let me know he was running late, though, which I appreciated. I scheduled a 30k service with an added service of replacing my brakes due to the website saying I should add it to the service even if it wasn't needed. This was a scam, in my opinion, because once you pay upfront, your money stays with the company for up to 12 months regardless of if you do in fact need the service. After he was done, I asked how my breaks looked before replacing and he said, "they looked good!" - I would've appreciated him saying, "by the way, they're fine - they don't need replacing yet", which is what I would expect at any mechanic shop.

Suspension up front makes a ton of noise, creaks
Answered by Jay
The front suspension has many moving parts which could cause the noise you describe. The most likely cause is the sway bar links binding. They can be inspected by turning the suspension steering and bouncing the car up and down,...
Sagging headliner coming off the ceiling, looks awful
Answered by Jay
The headliner is a piece of material with a foam backing which is glued to the roof of the interior. The glue used by Volkswagen to adhere the headliner does not hold up very well, causing the material and foam...
Tires that came from the factory are not good at all
Answered by Jay
The tires which came with your vehicle should not have had problems with sidewalls cracking or blowing out. I would recommend having the tires checked by the manufacturer for issues or defects which may be covered. To find replacement tires,...
Why does my motor go from running to just dead?
Answered by Jay
There are no recalls or technical service bulletins (TSB) for the stalling while driving complaint, however there have been other owners who've had similar drivability issues. The fuel pump relay may have an intermittent open circuit, causing you to lose...
