It is great that he could come to where I work to do the work the car. I can't tell how well the work was done as I am not a mechanic and I have not really driven the car after he finished the work. I would think it is hard for anyone to evaluate a repair so soon after the repair was finished. You are asking for this evaluation literally minutes after he finished.

    I would check the fuses for the starter relay. You may have a blown fuse for the starter. I would have YourMechanic come and diagnose the starting problem further (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/car-is-not-starting-inspection).
