I scheduled to have my alternator replaced, as the guy at Autozone said it was going bad. Robert arrived on time and within 20-30 minutes he called me to come outside so he could explain what was going on. Long story short, the guy from Autozone was incorrect. My alternator was not bad. Robert proceeded to demonstrate the voltage load on my alternator and explained it was operating correctly. My issue has more to do with the vehicle sitting idle for long periods of time, which drains the battery due to the electronic key fob system. Robert could have just replaced the alternator, charged me the full amount and been on his way and I would have been none the wiser. Instead, Robert was very honest about the situation and only charged me a diagnostic fee. I highly recommend Robert and Your Mechanic. Convenient, honest and fair pricing.
