Took my outback to a subaru dealership and was told my CJ boots were leaking and needed replaced. Chet inspected the CV boots and reported that it was the rack and pinion assy that was leaking and not the CV boot assy. He saved me $$$ and repaired what was needed. I just found my mechanic!

Chet really knows his stuff! We thought we needed a new windshield wiper motor, but it turned out to be just a small adjustment needed. Chet fixed it right away and we were only charged the labor for the call, even though a part had been ordered. We've used Chet twice, now, and both times he was personable, efficient and a pleasure to work with. While he was here, he also answered some questions for us and gave us a quote for some other much needed repairs. He also made suggestions for things that we would do on our own.

Tabitha was fantastic. She determined the likely cause of the issue on the initial appointment, secured parts and fixed everything on the second appointment. In addition, Tabitha was friendly, courteous, and very kind to explain what was going on. I sincerely appreciate the work done by Tabitha, and will certainly consider using YourMechanic again.

Chris was amazing. He was on time, courteous and respectable. He explained everything I needed. Another mechanic had told me I need a lot of work which would cost me over a 1000. Chris let me know what i need which was way less than that. I will definitely utilize him again and recommend him to anyone who needs it.

Alternator

AMOUNT PAID

$404.06
by Irene from San Diego, CA 92121

When my alternator started failing I was terrified to drive my car. It was so nice to have the option of a mobile mechanic that could come to me. Arturo arrived right on schedule, quickly verified the problem, and replaced my alternator in no time. He was very personable, knowledgeable, trustworthy; a very talented mechanic. Will definitely use this service again.

AMOUNT PAID

$99.00
by Zacharry from Spring Valley, CA 91977

Arturo was very helpful when it came to helping with my pre-purchase inspection. He checked the engine, spotted all the minor issues with the car, and performed code checks to make sure the dealership wasn't hiding codes. He also inspected the exterior, interior, brakes and found other minor issues that allowed me to get a better deal on the purchase. He also participated in a test drive to ensure there was nothing wrong with how the car drives. He was also very kind, customer service was solid and he made sure to let me know if there was anything fishy about buying a used car. The car ended up being the perfect fit for me, and I left very happy.
