Hello! This was my first time using YourMechanic and I am so impressed. I was having issues with my A/C only blowing cool on one side. I live in Texas and it's the middle of August and not having full A/C was a real concern. I travel a lot for work so the timing was worrisome. I didn't have time to drop my car at the dealership, hope to get a loaner and if not, worry about how to get to and from work for several days. The website and customer service was great but most of all, I was so impressed by my mechanic Jacob k. Smith. He is professional, knowledgeable and SO NICE! You can tell he really cares about his job and providing the best service possible. He really made an impact with me. He knew exactly what to fix, came to my office and did the repair in the parking lot while I was still able to work. He even explained and showed me exactly what he was doing, which was kind of cool. Jacob changed out the Blend Air Door Actuator in no time and it ended up being less than the original quote! I will be using YourMechanic moving forward and hopefully I can request Jacob! HE IS AWESOME! I will definitely be recommending YourMechanic and Jacob!

I would have a technician inspect the car for the noise (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/car-is-making-a-noise-inspection). If something is loose it could be dangerous to drive.
Car remote malfunctioning.

Hi there! Keyless entry systems are wonderful when they work properly, and very frustrating when they malfunction. If your Keypad were still functioning, we would look to your keyfob as a likely suspect. However, seeing as how the Keypad is...
Play in the steering while driving.

If you feel play in your steering wheel this may be caused by a faulty intermediate shaft, loose tie rod ends/ball joints, or a faulty rack and pinion assembly. A good steering system inspection by a professional would be my...
Car clicks upon startup, won't start.
Answered by Andrew
You should have the battery load tested. It may not have enough power to turn the starter. If the battery is found to be good you should test the starter and make sure you're getting power to the coil when...
