My check engine light came on earlier this week. I was so afraid to drive my car due to a previous issue that ended with a blown engine. After researching on Google I located 'YourMechanic'. I was impressed by the professional website and the option to even download an amazing App! The quoted price for an oil change including inspection I was blown away with the competitive pricing. The cheapest I've ever paid for an oil change. Richard discovered that there wasn't anything major with the engine, just need to replace my gas cap according to the rest. Lastly I was extremely impressed with My Mechanic, RICHARD COOGAN!! He was prompt, polite, professional, FAST and educational. I am so impressed with this company and service. I will be referring my friends and family. You all definitely have a loyal customer!! Thank you so much Richard, continue to do amazing things for people like me. You are a savior.

First time I've ever used Your Mechanic and I am very pleased. Richard came to my house and replaced a valve cover gasket. I will definitely use the him again.

Martin was punctual, and very polite. He took care of the oil in my SUV quickly and was very unintrusive. He made my wife feel at ease, as she was the one at home when Martin showed up.

Spark Plugs

by Kayla from Antioch, TN 37013

I’m not sure what happened. I got my spark plugs changed. My Passat isn’t missing anymore but it takes 5 or more for it to crank now. That was not happening at all before getting my spark plugs replaced. Overall Jason was awesome when it came to fixing my spark plugs but I definitely was not expecting to have an issue with my car start right after this.

Q: Why does my motor go from running to just dead?
Answered by Jay
There are no recalls or technical service bulletins (TSB) for the stalling while driving complaint, however there have been other owners who've had similar drivability issues. The fuel pump relay may have an intermittent open circuit, causing you to lose...
Q: Tires that came from the factory are not good at all
Answered by Jay
The tires which came with your vehicle should not have had problems with sidewalls cracking or blowing out. I would recommend having the tires checked by the manufacturer for issues or defects which may be covered. To find replacement tires,...
Q: Suspension up front makes a ton of noise, creaks
Answered by Jay
The front suspension has many moving parts which could cause the noise you describe. The most likely cause is the sway bar links binding. They can be inspected by turning the suspension steering and bouncing the car up and down,...
Q: Sagging headliner coming off the ceiling, looks awful
