Answers to common Toyota Pickup questions

Q: My brake lights quit working and I can't find the fuse for them. It's NOT in the under the hood fusebox.
Answered by Jay
The stop lamp fuse is in the left kick panel inside the vehicle. It is a 15amp fuse that powers the stop light switch on the brake pedal. The brake light switch (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/brake-light-switch-replacement) sends power to rear brake lights.
Q: What could be causing my steering wheel to jerks from left to right?
Answered by Marvin
Hi there. Check to see that all of the connections are tight. Grease up the ball joints (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/lubricate-ball-joints) to make sure that they are lubricated. If all of the parts are tight that you installed, then go over to the...
Q: Air bubbles in my fuel filter
Answered by Jay
You may be sucking air from the fuel lines before the pump. Check all the clamps all the way to the tank. If you still are sucking air then remove fuel supply tube in the tank and check to see...
Q: Coolant coming out of my air intake
Answered by Andrew
I think the most likely cause of this issue would be a blown intake manifold gasket. I would recommend having your engine smoke tested to determine if any smoke comes out of the place you believe the coolant is leaking....

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

Kevin showed up ready to do his job and did just that. He showed me a couple important things on my vehicle I had overlooked and was nothing less than incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and informative. I would, without hesitation recommend him to anyone I know and would gladly use him again.

Patrick was very professional and polite. He inspected my car and found that it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. He is very friendly and I would DEFINATELY recommend Patrick to all my family, friends and co-workers.

David was knowledgeable, professional and thorough. I will have David do all my future car repairs.
