Paul was friendly and professional. He got to the job on time, and had all of the tools needed to do a comprehensive diagnostic. He even had a lift on his truck. He had no problem explaining what he was doing while he worked. I did need service this time because my engine block is cracked, but to have someone come to the house and diagnose the problem for only $70 instead of getting towed somewhere was a great deal and very convenient.

Answers to common Suzuki Sidekick questions

Q: Rattling and screeching noise
Answered by Jay
Hello. The A/C compressor clutch and pulley should be checked and you should replace the pulley only if the compressor is not leaking. If it is, then replace the complete compressor assembly (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/ac-compressor-replacement). If you would like to have this...
Q: Stiff brakes, cannot be pressed - 1997 Suzuki Sidekick
Answered by Jay
Hello. You should check to see if the brake booster (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/brake-booster-vacuum-pump-replacement) is getting good vacuum to the brake booster. Check the vacuum line from booster to the engine and see if it is collapsed or soft where it can collapse....
Q: Whats the Difference Between A "CKP Sensor And a CrankShaft Position Sensor?
Answered by Jay
There is no difference. CKP is the abbreviation for crankshaft position sensor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/crankshaft-position-sensor-replacement).
Q: After replacing the fuel pump, filter, relay, and 2 of 4 injectors, my car still won't start - 1997 Suzuki Sidekick
Answered by Marvin
Hi and thanks for your question. This seems to be the camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor, and the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor that is causing this issue. The MAF sensor will make the computer think that there is no air...

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

Kevin showed up ready to do his job and did just that. He showed me a couple important things on my vehicle I had overlooked and was nothing less than incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and informative. I would, without hesitation recommend him to anyone I know and would gladly use him again.

Tom went above and beyond to make me as satisfied as I could be. His communication was excellent. Friendly and professional and best if all, my car is running great and he did it without unnecessary repairs. I would and will highly recommend Tom and Your Mechanic to everyone. Thanks, Rob Miller.

Tim was great; offered advice instead of just blindly fixing. Also Tim was super friendly and very genuine. Highly recommend!
