Scion FR-S H4-2.0L - Brake Pads Replacement (Front) - Atlanta, Georgia
Mike was awesome! Right on time and very professional. I was looking for someone who could come to me and fix my brakes (they were bad) while I was at work because I don’t have time to take it to a shop and he did a wonderful job. I felt safe and trusted the fact that he was going to do his job and only that. After my brakes and rotors were done, Mike also suggested to be just out of a concern for safety that I may need to schedule another appointment for some more work done. Thank you Mike for being an honest, hard working person! I highly recommend him!

P0018
Answered by Kevin
Sensor output has to be directly tested (or the data/waveform viewed on a scanner) and determined to be faulty prior to replacement. If the sensor happens to test good then, the cause lies elsewhere. Code P0018 (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/p0018-obd-ii-trouble-code-crankshaft-position-camshaft-position-correlation-bank-2-sensor-a-by-jay-safford) can set due...
Engine noise at idling, Check Engine Light on
Answered by Jamahl
Hello. It is common for these cars to have problems with the camshaft gears making noise and causing the Engine Light to come on (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/check-engine-light-is-on-inspection). If the problem persists, then damage to the motor is possible. It would be a...
my 2013 scion FRS is haaving a rough idle and it almost feels like its just going to shut off what can it be?
Answered by Jessica
Hello, thank you for writing in. If you are receiving a code for the camshaft position sensor, it is likely causing your loss of power. The vehicle must know where the camshaft is to calculate other engine functions accordingly. A...
Tires and rims keep getting damaged
Answered by Jamahl
Hello. There could be a problem with the suspension on your car. The control arm (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/control-arm-assembly-replacement), ball joint (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/ball-joint-front-replacement), and inner or outer tie rod could be damaged. This will cause excessive wear on the tires (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/excessive-wear-on-outer-edges-of-tire-inspection). There could also...
