Got some work done on my car after the diagnostic. It was estimated that the repair would take 3 hours, and it only took Matt 1 hour! He knew of a faster method of fixing my car, and I have not had any problems since. He gives detailed explanations of what he was doing and why. He welcomes questions and encourages people to ask him for advice whenever. Great guy to have a conversation with as well.

Matthew took his time in explaining not just what he was going to do, but HOW the transmission is supposed to work and HOW his intervention would fix the issue. The experience is SO MUCH BETTER than the "red team, blue team, green team" that occurs when you walk into a typical repair shop. Will continue to use Mr. Lerman and YourMechanic as long as he is the kind of technician that your hire! I am usually reluctant to recommend service providers out of fear that my friends and neighbors will hold me responsible for any negative outcomes. However I feel totally comfortable and I have already recommended Matthew/YourMechanic to others!
