Q: Fuel smell

asked by on February 09, 2017

It wont start back up, obd 2 read knock sensor, but found out that it shouldn't keep it from running, I have a bad rack and pinion leak and wonder if I shorted something out. I sprayed carb cleaner in intake and it ran rough for a short time, when I pushed down the gas pedal it shut off, I'm getting fire and smell raw fuel out the tail pipe. Could it be another sensor instead? Ty Michael
