asked by on February 28, 2018

I just changed her oil when i got the check engine light and they didn't see any leaks, and there aren't any puddles of liquid under my truck(that weren't already there when i pulled up to the space) please help!

Car battery dying quickly especially after longer driving
It sounds like the alternator (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-alternator) is not charging the battery, when are you driving long distances. Running all the accessories and then shutting it off can cause the battery to be too weak (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-diagnose-a-car-battery-drain_2) to restart the car. If...

Be sure the tires are of the recommended size for the vehicle. If the wrong size tires were fitted, it can make the ESP system think two wheels are spinning faster than the other two and reduce power, apply brakes,...
All of the dashboard lights/icons came on and everything blacked out causing the car to shutdown completely while driving.
Hi there. The dash lights coming on and vehicle shutting down are, most likely, related to a charging system problem. It's fairly common for all the dash lights to come on with no alternator output, low voltage can cause unusual...
Recently replaced the TPS but still get code P0122, what causes this low voltage?
Code P0122 (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/p0122-obd-ii-trouble-code-throttle-pedal-position-sensor-switch-tps-a-circuit-low-input-by-jay-safford) may also indicate that you may have loose or poor connectivity to the throttle position sensor itself or potentially not enough voltage being supplied from the ECM. I would recommend having an expert from YourMechanic come to...
Heat is not blowing out of the vents, even when on high.
The lack of heat being generated by your system may indicate a clogged heater core. Replaced sway bar links and bushings. Still making a clunking sound. Sway bar feels loose when pulled on and can hear the sound.
You should not be able to physically manipulate the sway bar. If you are able to do so, there is something wrong with the bar, the links, bushings, the attachment to the frame or other suspension components. Whatever the fault...
Short in Amps of mustang causes battery drain. With fuse removed mustang runs fine. Will replacing amps fix this?
If there is water leaking into the convertible top well and trunk area, this should be addressed first. Replacing electronic components while still having a water leak issue will only cause damage to the replacement components. If the leak has...
Antifreeze leaking from banjo bolt
You should have a sealing washer on each side of the banjo so it will seal.
Is it okay to use 5w-20 in my 2004 buick lesabre
You can use 0W-30, 5W-30, and 10W-30. You cannot use 5W-20 oil in ANY operating conditions in this vehicle as the viscosity will be too low once the engine is warmed up.
