Q: When i put the key in, nothing turns on.
Just recently, I went to start my car and with the key turned to "acc", everything worked. As i turned the key to "on" everything turned off. after that nothing would turn on, no dashboard lights, nothing, no matter the position of the key. I spent a while checking all the fuses and relays. They were all fine. the battery is fairly new and the voltmeter reads 12.7 volts. later I went to try starting the car and it started with no problem, everything working. I turned the car off to see if it would start again but again, everything turned off. occasionally the open door light will come on very dimly in in the car's 'dead' state. definitely some kind of electrical issue. Im not sure what do try next.
