It makes a popping sound when i hit the breaks, it starts off kinda quiet and the more pressure you put on the pedal the louder it gets. I just put over a thousand dollars into my vehicle, still making the sound. I changed the whole ball joint control arm, both of them and both axels. I can't figure out what it is.
My car has 250000 miles.
My car's transmission is unknown to me.
The noise could be caused by too much rotor runout, the rotors might have thickness variation, brake parts could be loose (improperly torqued), and/or bushings could be worn.
