Hello there. In most cases, the seat belt light will stay on when the seat belt sensor is damaged, or the housing where the buckle is inserted is damaged and needs to be replaced. With the ABS light, this could be an indication of a damaged ABS module, individual wheel sensors or electrical harness failure. Having a professional mechanic complete a warning light inspection will help them diagnose the actual source of this problem and recommend the correct repairs.

What could be wrong with my vehicle? It stalled on the highway.
Hi, first task is to check for the problem codes that are setting the Check Engine Light (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/check-engine-light-is-on-inspection). Since you have a "hard stop" failure, this become even more important. First level isolation is to see if you have spark,...

The P0171 (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/p0171-obd-ii-trouble-code-system-too-lean-bank-1-by-andrew-quinn) refers to a possible lack of fuel pressure, a leak in the intake air system, or a possible vacuum leak. The P0102 (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/p0102-obd-ii-trouble-code-mass-airflow-maf-circuit-low-voltage-input-by-john-nelson) also leans towards a leak in the intake air system. It is possible that...
engine wont restart when hot, no spark P0340 has 12v on both connectors, freq from 5-11hz when cranking
Since the crank position sensor gets its timing signal off the damper, I would first replace the damper to be sure timing was correct. The fact that this failure occurs after a "heat soak" cycle, and the P0340 code is...

Rough idle and there is a raw fuel smell coming from the exhaust.
If the spark plugs were replaced and there is too much fuel in the exhaust system, then the injectors are leaking and not spraying (atomizing) the fuel properly. A leaking fuel o-ring will make the fuel puddle up outside of...
