The automatic transmission is stuck in neutral the automatic shifter is stuck in neutral, on th dash it says it’s in 3rd or 2nd and with not shift out of those gears. The car will not start. I’m stuck 150 miles from home

150 thousand I have a service done a few months ago with new fluid and filter along with a new valve body

It appears you have a gear selection issue and the transmission has jammed in gear, you could try disconnect the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect to see if a reset helps failing that it would need to go to a auto repair shop for further investigation how many miles have you done since the valve body repair was done on the vehicle
