Q: Transmission fluid capacity Aisan TF 80 ?

asked by on

i am so worried, plz let me know if you are able.

Hi there - this transmission holds approximately 4 quarts of fluid. However, it is impossible to change the fluid by simply draining the fluid - will only get a fraction of this amount. Fluid changes with a fluid change machine - which taps into the transmission fluid lines, and uses the transmissions pump while running to pump out the old, and pump in the new fluid - will permit a full fluid exchange, and will take roughly twice this amount, say 8 quarts. I would recommend a transmission fluid replacement service by a mobile, professional mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, who will come to your location, and perform this service.
