If it's working fine now then it's an intermittent problem with the speed sensor. The answer is YES. I would replace it since it threw the code for it and was identified as a problem. If it failed once, it will fail again.

I took it to them today to get it replaced but now it’s not coming up on the computer after trying 3 times to read it and they test drove it twice and said it is driving just fine.
