Couple questions if you turn the headlights on do they come on? It sounds like when they broke into your car the battery went dead. Let me know what all you have tried so far?

Ok does it have a factory alarm or aftermarket alarm. Because a broken window won’t cause it not to start unless they tried to steal the car and cut some wires at the ignition switch. When you turn the key what dash lights come on?

Ok it almost sounds like it’s the starter that’s bad do you have a meter or a test light we can check to see if we are getting power to the starter. There are 2 wires to check 1 is constant power and the other will only have power when you try to start the car. That’s the next step.

The click is coming from the inside of the cab underneath by where you pop the hoodI get what you're trying to refer to when you say click.b it's the click when you have a dead battery or like you said the starter is going out. It is not that click there is no click outside the cab.

Ok then we need to check power out of the ignition switch to establish which way we need to start testing. Do you have a meter?
