Q: There is automatic transmission fluid in a manual transmission. Is it okay to leave or do I need manual transmission fluid?

asked by on May 07, 2017

So I just replaced the clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder. As I let the transmission fluid leak to not cause a mess, I noticed that the fluid was automatic transmission fluid. Is that normal? I have never seen a manual transmission take automatic fluid.

My car has 1828495 miles.
