Q: The service advance track light comes on periodically.

asked by on

When the light comes on, I am always stopped. Should I worry about this. It doesn't happen all the time.

My car has 95000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

There is a technical bulletin to reprogram the power train control module for your specific vehicle. The bulletin number is 13-1-15. Contact your local dealer to diagnose the warning light being on and they will also be able to reprogram the computer.

If you’d like a second opinion on this, feel free to contact a certified mechanic who will be able to diagnose the warning light firsthand.
