Q: The car wont start after we installed a new starter in it, not turning over
The car just had a new starter installed last night and we were able to start it 3 times although it sounded weak. wake up this morning and nothing but cranking. The battery is charged (we think), the spark plugs produce a spark, new crankshaft position sensor a month ago (but they installed it twice because it went out a second time), the radio and dashboard lights come on. When we crank it the whole engine shakes, and sputters for as long as the key is turned but no firing.
