Q: Cause of steering wheel vibration at 40
Cause of steering wheel vibration at 40 on toyota camry 2009 model,it only happen during braking
My car has 124000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
If you are getting a braking vibration that seems to be present above 40 mph when braking is most likely the front rotors are slightly warped. As the warpage gets worse then the pulsation will be felt at even slower speeds. You can have the rotors replaced or resurfaced along with replace the front brake pads. I would recommend replacing the rotors and pads.
