Q: suzuki ltr450 moves on its own

asked by on

my ltr450 is proprely idleing and has a good mixture. but when i put it in 1st gear it starts rolling on its own without any throttle . it can go up to 20mph without throttle
My car has a manual transmission.

You will need to check the computer for codes for idle control or a throttle body sensor issues. If there are no codes then look at computer data to see if long and short term fuel trims show there is a lean condition due to a vacuum leak in the intake or throttle body. Also check the air filter and mass air flow sensor for clogged dirty filter and clean the sensor if dirty.
