Had problem starting vehicle (cranked but wouldn't turn over) next day after checking for noise from fuel pump (listen for noise via gas tank- Passed) then check for clicking on fuel pump relay - passed. It started right up, let it idle for about ten minutes - no problem. Then drove the vehicle for about 2+ miles, stalled out and wouldn't restart. (Drained battery in process) - got it towed home, hook up quick charger, waited a few minutes, rechecked rely and fuel pump - both passed and started right up. Wondering if this could be a problem with the relay going bad. Also looks like my fuel pump is external - is that possible ? Have what appears to be fuel line coming from the fuel tank to a device enclosed in a bracket (thinking it could be the external fuel pump) ????
