Q: Smoke

asked by on

There is smoking coming from the fire wall under and around wires. What does that mean

My car has 230000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

If you suspect the wiring is shorting out and there is a chance of a fire then i recommend you disconnect the battery until you have a mechanic like one from YourMechanic check it out for you. If you have oil leaking onto the exhaust or engine you may get smoke from this also. Either way have it checked.
