Q: Service Air Light On

asked by on

The Service Air light came on.

There may be a few causes for why the Service Air light is illuminated on your Escalade. Assuming that we are not referring to the supplemental restraint system (SRS), it sounds like there may be an issue with the suspension in your Cadillac, which is equipped with air controlled suspension. There are many components that allow this system to work properly. It is also possible that the air compressor that provides the air ride suspension is failing or has already failed. There is another possibility that there is a leak in the air system itself. Without more information it is difficult to provide a solid answer to this question. However, I highly recommend enlisting the assistance of a certified mechanic to properly diagnose why your Cadillac’s Service Air light is on and address any issues before they turn into big problems.
