Q: Scary

asked by on June 05, 2017

So last Friday I got caught in the rain and happend to drive through some large puddles. After I got to to my destination I put it in park, while the car was still running it died on me. I started it back up,but had to push on the gas to get it to start. I drove home and it died every time I came to a stop. I made it home but , barley. I checked the air filter to see if I had sucked up water and it was dry,I pulled the spark plug wires to.see if they were wet and they were not,and I removed the distributor cap and it was dry. All was well until that wet day,now it did the same thing today after I got the oil changed. It ran fine this morning, but now it's back to doing the exact same thing it did last Friday
