Something is shutting off the fuel to engine

My car has 143000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hello, thanks for writing in about your Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera. If you are loosing fuel pressure after it gets hot then you most likely have a fuel pump that is locking up when it gets hot. The connector to the fuel pump may also be loosing connection. If you need help with fixing this, have a certified technician, like one from YourMechanic, diagnose your stalling issue for an accurate repair.
