Q: Problem starting

asked by on January 07, 2017

I went out after lunch ,its 25° and snowing , i always warm my car before leaving.it started fine so i turned up the heat and came back in.when i went back out my car had died and it wont start,it turns over and my radio, dash lights etc work fine.My gas gauge doesn't work,so I put a gallon or so in thinking maybe I misjudged my amount I had in it.it still wont start. I know a very little about cars from hanging with my exhusband but am now a single mom,ANY advice would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thoughts?
