Q: Q: Possible dead battery

asked by on

I think my battery is dead, and I can't get into my car.

A lock out service needs to be carried out in order to gain access to the good latch. Once the good latch is opened, a charge test should be performed by a qualified technician such as the ones offered here at YourMechanic to determine if the battery has the proper voltages. This test will also check for proper operation of the starter and the alternator.
