Q: oil seal filter leakage

asked by on

need my oil seal filter fix there is a leakage
My car has an automatic transmission.

There is a small o-ring that sits inside of the top of the oil filter that is intended to seal up to the bottom of the oil filter housing. If this is not properly mated with the bottom of the oil filter housing or not tight enough, it can cause a leak from this area.
