I finally got my car fixed but not. It took the mechanic six times to fix leaking seal. My seals aren’t leaking but got my car back with the check engine light on when I press the gas pedal the rpms shoot up and then when I press the gas pedal it doesn’t want to go until it gets to the point we’re pressing the gas pedal it won’t go at all. I can kind of feel I slight shake. so a mechanic fixed a leaking seal, where?

Transfer case output shaft seal. He changed all five of them and finally this last time he changed on bearing in the transfer case output shaftHe said he had a something come up on the computer he put on my car and it said Evap I asked him what was that or what did that mean and he was pretty much like I don’t know.

an evap code is not going to cause your vehicle to act like that. he did something wrong while replacing the seals and bearing. its a transmission/transfer case issue

Does it have anything to do with his taking the ring off of my piñon and then me having him put it back on. I drove it without it on for a couple of weeks. He also said he got catalytic converters codes

he should have flushed out the entire transmission and differentials then did a line pressure test. I would need to know all of the fault code numbers

For some reason he wouldn't let me see them. Ok well when the seals were leaking the gear oil and the transmission fluid were being mixed together and what he had caught of that he put back in my transmission fluid I told him I don't think your suppose to do that he said it won't hurt it. So he put that back in my car. Should I drain that and put all new transmission fluid inI will take me car to autozoneand have them put it on the computer

that cat sounds like he didnt know what he was doing he's straight up crazy if he put that fluid back in you need to have the transmission flushed.

Yea that's what I learned after I let him fix the seals the first time. But since he did it and knew what he did or didn't do I kept having him fix it. I bought the seals 6 different times and the bearings and all the fluid I've lost and had to replace. It isn't cheap. He will never touch my car againto flush it I would have to take it in to the dealer

Ok so since it's in there the way it is now. Do u need to run some regular transmission fluid through it a couple times to clean the gear oil out or no

I got a code when I took it to auto zone. My selenoid b is out or off.I drained and filled it I asked the guy what's up and he said it could have gotten unplugged in the transmission pan.

It is but it isn't. There's a whine and the selenoid b is messed up. I don't know what that is. The rpm will go up but once I get to thirty mph it's driving just fine
