The car had a new battery in it. The battery is dead from trying to start the car.

This engine had quite a few different issues that may of caused a no start. The list is ignition module, distributor stator, fuel pump, fuel pump relay, timing belt, ignition coil and wiring issues. The only way to fide the failure is to have a technician inspect your car out to narrow it down and quote the repairs needed to start your car.
