Q: My oil light pops up and won't go away 1999 Pontiac Sunfire

I changed oil and checked oil pump out of vehicle to see if it worked tested it by using a driller to spin it fast and it was working fine what else can be wrong or is it my oil pump?

My car has 222200 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
