Q: My 2000 4runner(toyota) is shaking when it reaches 2000 rpms. I wonder what it can be. The shaking started on the freeway to work.
The car shakes when I accelerated past 2000 rpms after second gear. If I push the speed to 19 from 18 the cares shaking increases. I feel The car shaking from behind the dashboard and only increases in the attempt to increases speed past 18 mph. I have changed the spark plugs 2 months ago. I couldn't find the spark wires on the engine so I didn't change them. Besides that I only did the oil change tune up. This next time up I aim to change air and oil filter as well. What is the shaking a symptom to?
