Q: My 1995 3.8 L mustang has been losing power. The car takes extremely long just to get up to 10 mph and I can't rev passed 2500-3000.
I can't rev the engine passed 2500-3000 rpm depending on what gear I'm in without the engine rattling heavily and/or misfiring, i can no longer get up any type of hill or slope, even the smallest one. The engine also begins to sound like an airplane after a while if that makes any sense. The cars power is very week, but just last week it was strong as ever, from my own diagnoses I figure it could be the mass airflow or the fuel injector but I wanted to really narrow it down before I start buying parts
