Q: Muffler might need replacement.

asked by on

My muffler is too loud all of a sudden. I might need a replacement.

An exhaust leak can come from many places, including the muffler. A technician will be able to pinpoint your leak by putting a rag in the tailpipe, which will make the leak more pronounced and easy to find. I would not suggest you try this at home. Exhaust systems can get very hot and exhaust fumes can be harmful. A professional mechanic, such as one form YourMechanic, will be able to diagnose and repair your problem.
