Q: Motor blowed up 1994 Mazda B3000

asked by on

How much does it cost to replace the motor

My car has 186000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.

Hello - replacement prices can vary widely for a used engine from a recycler, or a used "Japanese Domestic Market" engine shipped from Japan. They have much more stringent emissions than the U.S., and very good condition engines are available from established channels for reasonable money. Check out JDM engine suppliers in your area. Unfortunately, YourMechanic does not do engine swaps at this time. Thanks for thinking of us though!
